ABOUT THE ARTIST

Amy Barnett

I am a young  contemporary artist based in Aberdeen, UK. My work looks into the Anthropocene, the current geologic epoch that humanity is in. I primarily work with sculpture and print making, positive and negative spaces, textural surfaces that bring the work to life. I try to make visual pieces of art that questions what the geology of Earth could look like if humanity continues the way it currently does treating the environment disrespectfully.
